The Colorado Department of Revenue has a new self-service portal for individual income taxpayers called Revenue Online. This one-stop service allows individuals and tax professionals to perform a variety of account functions online.
One of the features is the ability to change or update the mailing address. Taxpayers must first Sign Up to get access to their Colorado income tax account. The person signing up must verify they should have access to the account by answering security questions about the tax account and filing history. Once the taxpayer creates a login ID and password, the taxpayer (or representative) may access state income tax account information and update the mailing address.
Revenue Online also provides individual income tax refund status and payment history information.
Coming Soon. By September, taxpayers will also be able to see their business tax accounts through Revenue Online in a streamlined, one-stop view of all their tax accounts. Many of the current sales tax and wage withholding services will be found in Revenue Online, including sales tax license verification, sales tax rates and online sales tax filing. Additionally, the department will, for the first time, provide online filing of Colorado corporate, fiduciary and partnership returns through Colorado NetFile and the ability to amend these types of returns.
